A brand-new week of NBA action tips off with five games on the schedule chock full of NBA odds for hungry basketball bettors to dig into.
Luckily, I’ve done the digging for you and found a trio of NBA player props for you to bet on tonight, starting with the best matchup on the board as LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers visit Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers.
Then I turn my attention to my favorite fade this season — the Washington Wizards. While the Detroit Pistons have an equally bad record, they have one clear advantage in this matchup and Isaish Stewart could be the beneficiary.
Check out my free NBA picks for those matchups in my full breakdown below.

NBA player props for November 27
Prop bet #1: Third fiddle
The marquee matchup in the NBA tonight takes place in the City of Brotherly Love where Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
As of Monday afternoon, LeBron (questionable, calf) and Anthony Davis (probably, abductor) are on the Lakers injury report for this matchup. Whether they suit up or not, the Lakers need to start playing better perimeter defense.
Right now, L.A. is allowing the fourth most 3-point attempts per game to opposing teams. So, it feels a little lucky that opponents are hitting only 35.5% of those attempts heading into this matchup, but being lax on defense is not something you want to do against this Sixers team.
Embiid and Tyrese Maxey are thriving in Nick Nurse’s system with Philly ranking third in the NBA in offensive rating, but they’re not the only ones who have gotten a boost this season.
Tobias Harris is averaging 19.3 points per Game and has his highest effective field goal percentage since becoming a member of the 76ers back in 2018-19.
Now, Harris has cooled off a bit from 3-point range after a hot start but is still hitting 34.5% of his attempts and this is exactly the type of matchup he needs to get back on track.
Tobias Harris prop: Over 1.5 made threes (+114 at FanDuel)
Prop bet #2: Can't stop Stewart
We’ve got a toilet bowl of an NBA matchup on Monday night as the 2-14 Detroit Pistons host the 2-14 Washington Wizards. And while the season has gotten off to a disastrous start for both teams, the Pistons have a decided edge in at least one area: rebounding.
I've been very vocal about fading Washington’s lack of effort on defense this season, and that lack of effort is no more apparent than in the rebounding department. The Wizards are a terrible rebounding team, ranking dead last in both rebounding rate and opponent rebounds per game.
They're also getting destroyed on the interior. Washington ranks 29th in opponent points in the paint, surrendering 58 per game. Simply put, the Wiz are getting bodied by physical big men on the inside.
That has me looking at Isaiah Stewart. The 22-year-old power forward is having a solid season for the Pistons, averaging 11.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Now, we could just look at Stewart’s rebounding prop, but I want to take a swing here and back him to record a double-double.
Basically, we are looking for Stewart to grab 10 boards. If he does, he's got a great chance of notching another double-double as he's put up at least 10 points in all but three of his 16 Games so far this season. He's recorded a double-double each of the five times he's grabbed 10+ rebounds, including four times in his last nine Games.
That means this +340 price tag is undervaluing his chances to do so once again, particularly against a Wizards team that presents a great matchup for him.
Isaiah Stewart prop: To record a double-double (+340 at DraftKings)
Prop bet #3: Dyson dimes!
The New Orleans Pelicans are looking to avenge a loss to a struggling Utah Jazz team as the two Western Conference foes play their second straight game in Salt Lake City on Monday night.
The Pels lost that Game on Saturday 105-100, and despite winning five of their last seven overall, you can tell they're still adjusting to life without All-Star shooting guard CJ McCollum.
One of the adjustments New Orleans has made has been to insert Dyson Daniels into the starting lineup. Daniels is a second-year man out of Australia and has taken over some of the playmaking duties that McCollum has left behind.
The 20-year-old guard is averaging 4.5 assists per game over his first 10 games as a starter and he’ll have a great opportunity to keep dishing out the dimes in this matchup against Utah.
Utah is just 5-11 for the season, and it’s the defense that has let this team down, ranking 26th in defensive rating and allowing the sixth-most field goal makes per game. They've also been gashed by teams willing to make the extra pass, allowing the third-most assists per game.
Daniels’ assists prop is sitting at 4.5 for tonight’s matchup. He’s gone Over this number seven times in 10 games since becoming a starter, including handing out five in Saturday’s matchup against the Jazz. The plus-money odds are just the cherry on top.
Dyson Daniels prop: Over 4.5 assists (+112 at FanDuel)
